Many of us had favorite books as children. In my case, it was a tie between two books. The first was a book about dolphins that was printed on plastic pages and crafted of a foam that blessed it with the ability to float in water. The second book was one which, unfortunately, was not able to be taken with me on my bathtub escapades and titled Vicious Little Sid.
Vicious, like many books intended for the age disabled, is the story of an exhausting, burdensome, incorrigible little scamp and details his many adventures in simple-to-read, twenty-two page fashion. I must have flipped through that book more times than The Pagemaster got beat up, because by the end of my childhood it was practically worn down to dust.
You can imagine my excitement when trying to find a good way to approach this month’s topic, I stopped at a local bookstore and found a copy of Vicious. Enough so that–with complete disregard for copyright law–I decided to share with the Use Bombs readership a complete scan of the tale.
Thank me later, simply think of this as a group book reading aided by the Internet and my spiritual powers. My ghostly energies sitting behind you, controlling your mouse, and kissing you softly as Unchained Melody loads up on your iTunes. Yes, this is the way children’s books are meant to be read.
