About Use Bombs

Use Bombs is an online magazine and an expanding blog community focused on getting people to laugh. Sometimes we take the high road to achieve these results, many times we take the low. Either way we span a variety of topics in our attempts. And “attempts” is the appropriate word, as most of our efforts drown in a frozen pond, clawing and scratching ice above–doomed to perish.

Arion Londraville: Director

Arion Londraville

If every clock has a clock maker, Arion Londraville is ours. And if every clock has a blacksmith; a plumber; a professor; a handler; a skipper; a millionaire and wife; a movie star; and a Mary Ann, then Arion is surely the Use Bombs equivalent of these professions as well. This is possible because his wide array interests and hobbies are as varied as his list of phobias. It's lucky for all of then that one of his many skills is writing, as Arion won't just be composing prose about his boundless night terrors, but also helping to ensure that every other article on the site is premium, triple grain distilled, 190 proof, super flammable awesome.

Josh Allen: Editor-in-Chief

Josh Allen

At Use Bombs we all love video games. But, our Editor-in-Chief Josh Allen lives video games. Josh eats them (literally,) sleeps on top of a pile of them, and works on them—by which we mean he plays them incisively instead of holding down a "real" job. His wide knowledge of the NES is only matched by his musical know-how, wit, temper, and wide ranging love of sauces. Josh Allen is an unfathomably deep bowl of chowder waiting to be explored; at times endured; and, at still other times, endeared.

Dave Bova

Dave Bova

By a narrow margin the Use Bombs team voted that having a staff historian was a priority, and ever since then Dave Bova has been through an unfruitful period of entrenchment with us. With Dave came a certain charm that some would call conscientious, and he wouldn't disagree. That lack of objection, however, is only due to the fact that he's ignoring you. As he thinks of himself as an active phisherman, an insomniaing champion, and a devoted puncher of things, you can imagine that Dave has better things to do with his time than cater to the likes of our readership.

Arison Cain

Arison Cain

A wild tiger shark once said, "Arison Cain!!!" And sure enough moments later, Arison kicked his way out of that sharks bowels. That's how he arrived here at Use Bombs and, indecently, how the Tiger Feint Kick was invented. Now that Arison is here, he'll be sharing that and many other wrestling stories with you. This isn't to say his knowledge doesn't extend to such things as music, entertainment, fine women, and partial or full on debauchery. As a matter of fact, Arison Cains debauchery skills are a foundation on which the Use Bombs crew is built. But, it is a combination of all of these things, along with his triumphs, tragedies, and charisma that will leave readers hanging off his words.

Rob Lavine

Rob Lavine

Rob Lavine is the Use Bombs in-house and on call bionic alcoholic. His firewater supercharged feats of strength are as brazen as his sensibilities are charming. By all accounts, this would make him the ideal Southerner. However, Rob has bigger, boozier, more rebellious, Southernliner thoughts on his mind than Dixieland. Those mad ideas, along with plenty of others are what he's here to announce. Not share with you—announce—prepare to have his opinions thrust upon you with the force of one thousand smashing guitars.

Brett Ramus

Brett Ramus

Just like a prayer, Brett Ramus will take you there. Except instead of the power of religion, Brett will be using the power of words. Fortunately, the power of poorly strung together verbs, adjectives, and nouns can be an incredible catalyst to taking people places. Unfortunately, those places are traditionally dominated by wolves, bears, and cougars. This is because Brett fancies himself an outdoors-man, a runner, a student of the liberal arts, and a walking library. Allow his writing at Use Bombs to transferify his infinite knowledge to you. Because, As Brett would say, "Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone."
